After a two-year hiatus, the 20th Anniversary California Firefighters Memorial Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 6pm in Sacramento. The Memorial honors California firefighters who have fallen in the line of duty.

Stockton Firefighters Local 456 and the Stockton Fire Dept. are saddened to announced the line-of-duty death of Fire Captain Max Fortuna, who died after being shot while operating on a fire. Memorial services honoring Brother Fortuna were held on Feb. 8 in Stockton.
