Local 1165 Supports Teachers

We all know that our teachers deserve more. It is a common theme that teachers are continually asked to do the impossible. Bigger classes with less resources. It is time that we said enough. It is time to stand up for our teachers.

On the morning of January 22nd, firefighters from across this nation came together to show solidarity with the United Teachers of Los Angeles. 1600 members of the International Association of Firefighters marched into downtown Los Angeles behind our dedicated leadership to show the people who teach our children that they are not alone. I've never been more proud to be part of this great group. #IAFFSTRONG  #UTLAStrong
