2023 Firefighter Olympics

Local 1165 had members compete in the California Firefighter Summer Games. Here are a few fantastic results. Brother Nate Lindsay (middle) won Gold in Longboard in the Masters Division and Brother Matt Freeman (right) won bronze in both Longboard and Shortboard in the Grand Masters Division.

Norcal First Alarm Girls Camp

Local 1165 are proud to support the NorCal First Alarm Girls Fire Camp. Over 60 campers and around 100 staff representing 20 + departments from Northern California volunteered for an unforgettable experience.

2023 Seattle Stair Climb

Local 1165 members participated in the 32nd annual LLS Firefighter Stairclimb in Seattle. The LLS Firefighter Stairclimb is the world’s largest on-air stairclimb competition and over 2,000 firefighters compete in the event. All proceeds directly benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Strong work Local 1165!!

On February 10th, members of Local 1165 volunteered at 'Night To Shine' - Silicon Valley. Night to Shine is a worldwide movement organized by the Tim Tebow Foundation celebrating people with special needs through a prom night experience.
